Rapper, Quanstar, and his wife, Lori, wanted to create a family business that, when the time came, they can hand over to their children. After a family meeting with their 5, 8, and 11 year old kids (at the time), a company was born.
Jamen, the youngest, chose the name Family’s Favorite Foods. JJ, the oldest, designed the logo. And Jemal helped Quanstar create the recipes.
Since 2017, Family’s Favorite Foods have been through ups and downs. From primarily selling ice cream and hypo-allergenic foods online to opening a vegan bakery kiosk at the We Suki Suki Food Collective to shutting down because of the pandemic to transitioning to wholesale and white label vegan baked goods, they’ve had one belief. Family first…then food.
